Semester

This time i will talk about my semester. A semester is a period that varies depending on the interest of the classes that contain, that is my own definition. But today is different, I am interested in 90% of them and yet has been complicated at higher levels. I have 6 subject this semester: "English", "Ecosystems Assessment" with Professor Horacio Bown (academician with great vocation), "Silviculture and Forest Management", "Raw Materials and Industrial Supply", "Elective Forest Management Zone Arid", "Technical Writing", and my favorite is "territorial ordering", in which we plan the distribution and use of the resources in the study area. It has a theoretical part as a practice where we use the GIS system, for the creation of maps. After, I continue with an analysis regarding the decisions and importance we give to the present variables. It is difficult to interpret, but not perform. It was mainly use of resources, sectors for preservation and production, also discussed legal issues that go hand in hand for handling sectors.

I hope that efforts bring fruit, because the fatigue that I have accumulated is extraordinary.

WEB OR EXPERT?

I take the second option. In the career, the main topic that interests me, is the dynamics of ecosystems. Within this line, there are several sides that focus; which I like most to me is: fire ecology. There are some experts on the subject, but my favourite is my professor of fire, Miguel Castillo. He is Forester, by Universidad de Chile (1998), Diplomate in Mathematical Cartography, by UTEM (2002), Mgter in Geography, by Universidad de Chile (2006), Doctor in Natural Resource and Sustainability, by Universidad de Cordoba-España (2013).

He currently works in the laboratory of forest fires, Universidad de Chile. Handled in the processes of anthropogenic arising from the action of the fire in landscapes, the territorial analysis of dynamic processes in the change of the territory and its environmental, economic and social implications. He handles the anthropogenic proceses arising from the action of the fire in landscapes, the territorial analysis of dynamic processes in the change of the territory and its environmental, economic and social implications. He also works within the scope of the disaster prevention and in the definition of strategies of territorial protection based on the application of tools GIS and others associated with the camp of the geomantic. Castillo is one of the maintainers of the project of CONAF (2016-2018 period) as research manager for the creation of patterns of ground for the restoration of sclerophyll formations affected by forest fires.

DANCING BOY

My favorite film is Billy Elliot, a British story developed in northeastern England, directed by Stephen Daldry and starring Jamie Bell. In this shows the story of a boy who knows the ballet and wants to become a dancer, while exposes the social problems of the period
In 1984, Billy Elliot, an 11-year-old, is sends by his father Jackie to the gym to learn boxing, but Billy dislikes the sport. One day, a ballet class begins in the gym, Billy whitout telling joins the ballet class. When Jackie discovers this, he forbids Billy to take any more ballet. But, passionate about dancing, Billy secretly continues lessons with the help of his dance teacher, Sandra Wilkinson. She believes Billy is talented enough to study at the Royal Ballet School in London, His family are outraged at the prospect of him becoming a professional ballet dancer.

After this, I discovered Billy Elliot: The Musical, is about 10 years on stage and even has been recorded on DVD. This is starred by Elliott Hanna, and is my favorite. The music was composed by Elton John and is without doubt for me a work full of life, ordinary life. This Musical teaches something very important "EXPRESSING YOURSELF" y "LOVE YOURSELF"
